Presenting Companies:

Nutmeg helps schools and districts raise their test scores by using assessment data to better individualize education for each student.  Our proprietary technology allows schools to more effectively use assessment data from either a) legacy assessment software or b) our own assessment solution.  What teachers and students love most aboutNutmeg is that we leverage this data to give students Open Education Resources targeted to areas they struggle with and then offer students additional practice tests when they are ready. Nutmeg then reports this data back to teachers & school leaders to show students’ real-time progress.  We provide our core assessment platform free to teachers and up-sell schools/districts .  We believe this bottom-up approach to adoption is critical to the K-12 market.

TeachBoost is a teacher effectiveness platform that makes it easy to use the evaluation process to improve professional development and build capacity within schools and districts. Designed in collaboration with NYC principals and currently used by 20% of NYC schools, we create opportunities for meaningful interactions among teachers and administrators through our collaborative portal, creating a safe space for teachers to collaborate with, and learn from, their peers.

Book&Table is an educational marketplace for people to create, discover, and purchase personalized courses. Through Book&Table, you search for subjects and skills you’re interested in learning, share your unique goals with selected educators, and receive a hand crafted course made just for you. Your personalized course is simply a set of in-person lessons with your educator-with scheduled meeting times and locations-and shared supplemental resources to help you achieve your learning goals. Whether it’s enrolling in a two hour crash course for a biology exam, 5 lessons to prepare for the GMAT, or 20 lessons to become fluent in French, our community of like-minded teachers, professional tutors, and advanced students all share a common goal of creating and implementing the best educational content for your particular learning needs.
